This course is and introductory, core, course for International Studies majors. It introduces students to the historical, socio-cultural, political, and economic aspects of an interdependent global community. It seeks to foster students' critical thinking about the impact of international relations on our lives and the lives of others around the world.

German lab 

German lab instructor (Fall 2013, Spring 2014, Fall 2014, Spring 2015; Main instructor: Prof. Gerd Steckel)

 

Tasks: designed lab lecture and discussion plans, instructed several German labs each semesters,  graded lab participation.

​

The German lab is part of the introductory German course. It complements the formal German lectures and gives students' an opportunity to practice their verbal skills, strengthen their vocabulary, and clarify grammatical concepts.
